Wow,I can't believe it! Time has flown by (well, kind of). Nathan is one month old today, which also means a whole month of only getting 3 hours of sleep at a time. Crazy that i'm even functioning let alone taking pictures and video of the kids. Anyone who would like quick and guaranteed weight loss is welcome to borrow both babies for a week. I can almost guarantee at least 10 lbs.
Nathan is doing well and seems to understand night time. He doesn't sleep all night but he is good at eating and then going right back down. At least I have that!!! He still doesn't do anything except eat, sleep and poop but i'm hopeful it won't be long until I start getting smiles.
Katie has been quite the handful. I don't know what is wrong with her but she has been quite crabby. Makes my days at home extremely fun. You'll see in one of the attached videos how wonderful she can be. And i've also attached a video of her being cute because really, she isn't horrible all of the time!!! They are truly testing me as a mom but all in all i'd have to say that things are going very well.

Sorry, this has nothing to do with the kids...
So, I keep seeing these ads on tv. Ads for this wonderful new invention from Scotch Brite to clean your cook top. I want this item so badly that I almost ran out and immediately bought it after seeing it on tv. But guess what? I have been to Target, Meijer's, Wal Mart, every Rite-Aid and Walgreens in the area and cannot find it anywhere. It really pains me that they are advertised and then not carried in a store. It is so upsetting I had to blog about it! Anyway, I want this and I want it now! If you see this in a store and see me regularly, pick it up and i'll pay you for it!!

Seriously, where is this baby???
So I had my 38 week appointment this morning. I am actually about 38 1/2 weeks right now (yes, the 1/2 week is important!!). The good news is my blood pressure was low, my weight gain was low and so far I have avoided pre-eclampsia this time! I am also dilated to 1 cm. Such progress, good to know the cramps aren't just for fun. The good news is that i'm starting to dilate and thin out, the bad news (if you want to call it that) is that I could be dilated to 1 for weeks and not go anywhere. But being that i'm due in 11 days, let's hope things start to really progress. It took drugs and agony and a catheter and IV's of all sorts to get me to 1 cm with Katie so i'm already ahead of the game.
Time will tell but let's hope Nathan makes his appearance soon!
